Chef_choice_knife_sharpener Christopher Kimball at WickedLocal.com talks about the perfect Thanksgiving at recommends 2 knife sharpeners:
We suggest the Chef’s Choice Knife Sharpener (only buy the 3-slot, not the 2-slot model), but that will set you back well over $100. A cheaper alternative, but not good with a really dull knife, is the AccuSharp Knife and Tool Sharpener for a mere $11.71
The Chef's Choice Three-Stage Knife Sharpener retails for around $150 but does have 3 sharpening slots and uses spring loaded guides to hold the knife in place to ensure the proper angle. If you have the money and want sharp knives, it sounds like a great option.
